Now that is what I call a success! We have just checked in at Christine’s Puddings website to find that Christine has teamed up with Gill Webb from Tarte Maison and is using the Tarte Maison’s excellent pastry cases for her products.
And how did they meet up? Well, at the 2009 FreeFrom Food Awards party, of course! Well, we were always told that it was the best networking party in town, so it is great to see some material results from all that chatter!!
Christine’s yummy little gluten-free Hot Toddy Cake was Highly Commended in the cake category of this year’s awards while her Sticky Toffee Pudding was Highly Commended in the 2010 awards. We are looking forward to what she will be entering for 2012 – maybe one of those delicious looking Bakewell or raspberry tarts in Tarte Maison pastry that are pictured on her site…. Or maybe, even more useful, just the little tart cases that you can keep in your freezer and use as needed.
Meanwhile…. anyone wanting to know more about the awards should check in to the awards site and anyone wanting to know more about those awards parties should read Alex Gazzola’s account of this year’s ‘knees up’ in the Kew Bridge Steam Museum.
Entry for the 2012 awards will open on September 15th but meanwhile, we are inviting sponsors for next year to step forward so, if you are interested, check in at our sponsorship page. Some very reasonable packages – and lots of exposure!!
