A couple of weeks ago I was sent the rather splendid infographic below by a PR company working for Posturite, ‘market leaders in ergonomic products and services’. It was part of a PR campaign for their mini keyboard and their rather intriguing Penclic mouse – both designed to minimise RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury).
I am afraid that neither are of any use to me as they use either Bluetooth or Wifi. Even though my electro-sensitivity is very much better than it was, it only remains that way because I am very strict about minimising my use of wireless devices of any kind; I would feel the effects of a Bluetooth or Wifi mouse within days if not hours. I therefore stick strictly to wired devices – and, to be honest, would really recommend everyone else to as well….
In fact the PR lady who contacted me did suggest that there might be wired versions of these goodies available, in which case I would be very keen to try. But meanwhile, their excellent infographic suggests a number of ways in which you could minimise your chances of getting RSI without investing in any further technology!
