You may remember that some months ago I was having a fine old rant about BT piggy backing their ‘5 million hotspots’ on the back of all of our wifi routers?
Well, the subject has not gone away and a few days ago there was a comment added to the post from Barney LaCat and responded to by Jeemboh which suggests ways that you can circumvent BT’s nefarious use of your routers. Check out the last two comments on the post.
For those of you who are wondering what all this is about it is an issue both for those who are electrosensitive (BT’s use of your router means that even when you think the wifi is turned off so not blasting your with electromagnetic rays, it is not) and an issue for those who object to the fact that BT is piggy backing on your wifi without asking your permission. It is also an issue for those who believed that OFCOM is there to ensure proper use of the airwaves, which is evidently does not do as it has totally failed to take issue with BTFon….
